Our verdict
Prestige Southern Star is a mainstream South Bengaluru buy: a big-brand township with a wide price range, a sensible location between Bannerghatta Road and Hosur Road, and metro access that is already better than most. It is dense, and its open-space marketing should be taken with caution.
Choose your tower carefully for light and view, compare carpet areas, and confirm the land details on the RERA certificate.

Prestige Group: delivery record
Prestige Group (Prestige Estates Projects, listed) was founded in Bengaluru in 1986 and is led by Irfan Razack. Southern Star was one of four Prestige launches in January–March 2025 and sold ₹1,382 Cr within days. Prestige's Song of the South township is next door and can be visited.
The RERA promoter is Prestige Acres Pvt Ltd, a Prestige company. The RERA copy we saw lists a survey address at Rajapura village, Anekal taluk, which does not match the marketed Akshayanagar location — check the address in your agreement against the RERA certificate. No complaints or litigation were found for this project.
